"If I could tell you what I meant, there would be no point in dancing it"
Isadora Duncan

What is Xōchipilli?
John Davis once said that
‘dance is the child of music and love’
This motto has guided me all my life.
Our personal Xōchipillis comprise five key elements of the Aztec god Xōchipilli. They are beauty, music, nature, dance and play. The fusion of all these elements is a tried-and-true formula for happiness and dancing embraces them all with ease.
When we dance, we move to a musical rhythm. Dance moves, which have been developed from time immemorial, are affected by the natural environment and by human nature. Dance is a form of play; it is a release, fun, sometimes whimsical and it creates a rare and special beauty.
As you can see, anyone can do it. Even those who think they can’t should try and learn and connect to it… It’s simple, it’s therapeutic, it’s enjoyable and it definitely stimulates development.

“Patients’ ways of being in their bodies and their willingness to access their own unconscious material are part of their sense of self and play an important role in terms of the degree to which they will be able to heal.”
(Susan Kleinman, 2016)
I have a Baccalaureate in Biotechnology Engineering, an MBA, a Master’s Degree in Movement Therapy and certification as sex therapist. Together, these qualifications help me understand dance movement biology and physiology, and the importance of a healthy body and mins in a healthy soul.
For several years now, I have been researching and practising the juxtaposition of femininity, boundaries and sexuality through movement therapy. My personal and professional experiences have enriched me and taught me a great deal about people, life in general and the place I want to occupy – the place I offer you to reach.
Using individual movement therapy and employing the MindfulDANCE model I have developed in transitional movement spaces, I invite you to reconnect to your body, to yourself and to your happiness. I promise to accompany you on your journey with kindness, compassion and much love.
Yours,
Ronit.
